I bring you a stunning photograph taken in the Mont Blanc, which demanded two months of post production, among other numbers for amazement.
The ability to image resolution does not depend solely on the camera that takes, but also the processes used to work the images, which over time has had gigapixel coined the term to designate the equivalent unit 1000 megapixels.
How was it done?
The image belongs to the Mont Blanc, the highest peak in Europe, and to achieve it, the Italian photographer Filippo Blengini and a team of five people climbed up to 3500 meters of the mountain that goes up to 4810 meters high.
There, with temperatures of 14 degrees below zero, used equipment Cannon and a special robot for panning for two days to 70,000 high-resolution photographs, which claimed 46 terabytes of storage. Then, the post production demanded two months to fit (with digital processing) each instead.
To realize what level of detail you can achieve an image of such a resolution, just "surfing" with the cursor sideways and up, and zoom with the click of a mouse.
Quality marvel .. watch it here:
